Ten days went by way to quick and I was on a flight back to Nova Scotia (home is where my Joyce is:). Thanks for a great time Grant
This is my 1st winter of retirement and have a nice apartment close to the yacht club, Joyce is still working and she decided that I needed to get a break from the winter and the cold so she suggested I visit Grant in Antigua (what a girl). After calling Grant (living on sv "Vagrant") and checking to see if he wanted some company I flew out a few days later to see him. The boat was in Jolly Harbour at anchor, wow what a nice place to live. The people there were great to us along with excellent food, and entertainment. We also ran into lots of interesting cruisers, here you are little out of the charter foot print so there are a lot more private boats (bonus). While I was there we rented a van and our driver Chris took us over to English town. I have never seen so many mega yachts in my life what a site. We ended our day in Shirley Heights which is an old fort overlooking the Harbour. On Sunday night the vender,s get set up with lots of cool crafts. Giant BBQ's serve beef and chicken. and The Reggae bands play until late into the evening, its a party you won't soon forget.
