This began with me wanting to accurately mark the chain on Rose Lee so we could easily determine how much chain was out when anchored. When I removed the chain I realized the divider was rotten at the bottom along with the guides it slides into. At the bottom of the anchor locker there was a bit of a hollow where water pooled causing the anchor chain to rust and the rope rode to always be wet. Along with the defects mentioned the anchor locker's paint was also peeling and looked pretty crappy. So much for just marking an anchor chain:) I scraped and sanded the locker and then built up the bottom and leveled it out with new gel-coat, after the bottom was finished I gave the whole thing four coat of gel-coat so that should hold up for a while. For the divider I got rid of all the wood and replaced it with a really heavy plastic and fashioned plastic guides for it as well. All in all it turned out great I wish I had of snapped a few before pictures but here is the finished product
