Well we had a pretty productive long weekend and completely finished our forward waste tank project. This included replacing the macerator pump, y valves, tank monitor, all associated hoses, inspecting all anti-syphon loops finished up by a thorough cleaning. I did then started on the aft waste tank project. I removed the y valve and will replace with new and then I removed all the associated hoses for the toilet and waste tank and will be replacing them as well. I replaced the aft macerator pump last year so that is one less job. Joyce helped me run a couple of the larger and longer hoses. I hope to get this project completed this upcoming weekend but there is no guarantee with boat projects:). As I right this it is Monday evening April 25th and after spending the day at work thinking about boat projects I went to the boat after work and removed a few more hoses. You know its time to retire when you would sooner be working on your waste system:)

Well its not to surprising that my list of projects changed and grew during the winter, such is the boating life.
So that pretty much brings you up to speed on what I have been working on. I hope to finish installing and hooking up the waste tanks this weekend and then I will be starting on the AIS installation. I also have to haul the boat in June to clean sand and re-paint. |
